Marita Pappa (b. 1988) is a Greek interdisciplinary artist, educator, and researcher whose practice spans sculpture, text, sound, and image-making. Often site-specific and interventional, her work integrates historical research, fieldwork, and participatory methods to explore themes of the body, time, and public space. Through her art, she reflects on conditions of rupture, survival, and the delicate interplay between permanence and ephemerality. Rooted in a commitment to collaboration and critical inquiry, her work invites audiences to reconsider their relationship with their surroundings and the narratives embedded within them. Her approach is both performative and instinctual -deeply personal, yet grounded in research- seeking to uncover the intimate within the political and navigate the ambiguous terrain between private and public, aesthetics and politics.
